Mara is an Energy and Climate Change Expert at IEECP that coordinates and supports the development of EU projects centered on increasing energy efficiency in buildings, building climate adaptation capacity for cities and regions, and reducing energy poverty. Mara holds Master’s degrees in Sustainable Development, with a specialisation in Climate Change and Ecosystems as well as Sustainable Business Management obtained from Utrecht University and Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz. Since 2016, she has worked in the renewable energy and energy efficiency sectors to facilitate the adoption of green cities and the energy transition.
