Marco Peretto

Junior Expert
Based in The Netherlands

At IEECP, Marco is Junior Policy Researcher, and works on RENOVERTY, JUSTEM, Regio1st, Enefirst Plus and HouseInc projects.

During his BSc studies, he graduated in Industrial Engineering and Management from the University of Groningen, having developed an academic background both in Engineering and Business fields. Thereafter, he pursued his master’s studies at the Technical University of Delft, in Engineering and Policy Analysis, with a specialisation in Entrepreneurship. During his master’s thesis, he focused on energy poverty and modelling policies aimed at combating the latter, both in the EU and non-EU European countries. Thereafter, he started working at IEECP as a junior policy researcher with a focus on energy poverty, being involved in various EU-funded projects whilst pursuing a PhD at Utrecht University.
