Giulia Pizzini (MSc.) has over five years experience as project adviser and programme manager. She has been working in the Executive Agencies of the European Commission (EASME and CINEA) dealing mainly with the evaluation, management and assessment of Horizon 2020 projects. Her main fields of expertise include European Energy (Efficiency) Policy, with a focus on consumers behaviour, energy communities and cooperatives, energy education, energy planning in cities and regions (Covenant of Mayors, European Energy Award, energy management systems, etc.), the energy efficiency first principle, energy modelling and impact assessments (including multiple impacts of EE). She has been involved in the organization of the Covenant of Mayors Investment Forum – Energy Efficiency Finance Market Place from 2019 to 2021. Previously, she has been working with local and regional authorities in awareness raising, education and communication campaigns in the fields of sustainable energy, climate change and waste. Giulia holds a MSc. in Environmental Policy and Regulation at the London School of Economics and Political Sciences and a MSc in International and Diplomatic Sciences at the University of Trieste.
