Giulia Pizzini (MSc.) is a Senior Energy Expert at the Institute for European Energy and Climate Policy (IEECP), where she is coordinating the PROSPECT+ project.

She is also working on other H2020 and LIFE projects such as MICAT, DEESME, and LIFE NECPlatform and involved in other research projects within IEECP. Her main fields of expertise include European Energy (Efficiency) Policy, with a focus on energy planning in cities and regions, the energy efficiency first principle, energy modelling and impact assessments (including multiple impacts of EE), consumers behaviour, energy communities and cooperatives and energy education.

Previously she has been working in the Executive Agencies of the European Commission as Project Adviser and as a consultant for local and regional authorities in awareness raising, education and communication campaigns in the fields of sustainable energy, climate change and recycling. Giulia holds a MSc. in Environmental Policy and Regulation at the London School of Economics and Political Sciences and a MSc in International and Diplomatic Sciences at the University of Trieste. She is based in Rovereto (IT), where she is also involved in the management of an urban farm.
