Wolfgang has more than 30 years experience in designing energy efficiency, climate and innovation policies in a European and global context, notably for the industrial sector. Wolfgang worked on the EU Emission Trading Scheme ETS, benchmarks for companies, industrial cross-cutting technologies, energy audits and energy management systems, as well as the EU Innovation Fund. Wolfgang holds a Chair on Energy Efficiency and Energy System Modelling at Utrecht University. Before joining IEECP, Wolfgang was department head for Energy Policy and Energy Markets at the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI.
