Dimitris Papantonis holds a Bachelor (B.Sc.) and a Master (M.Sc.) degree in Mechanical Engineering, with specialization in Energy Engineering, from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). He also holds a second M.Sc. degree in “Power Generation and Administration”, from the NTUA.
He is currently a PhD candidate at University of Piraeus, working also as a Research Scientist at Technoeconomics of Energy Systems laboratory (TEESlab) of University of Piraeus (UNIPI), and the Institute of European Energy and Climate Policy (IEECP) participating in EC funded projects. His research profile focuses mainly on Building Energy Simulation (BES), energy demand, management modeling and energy poverty.
