This report from the EBENTO project provides a general overview on the current status of the market development of Energy Performance Contracts (EnPCs) in the European Union and particularly in the pilot countries from the project.
The report also describes the most common business models and the legislative framework for EnPCs in the EU and the pilot countries. The results that are presented in this report were obtained through an extensive literature research and in-depth interviews with key stakeholders relevant to EnPCs (e.g., policy makers, ESCOs, representatives of Ministries, etc.).
