Shima Ebrahimigharehbaghi

Expert

Shima is an energy efficiency and energy policy expert at IEECP. Her research mainly relates to improving energy efficiency in the building sector, innovative business models for financing energy retrofits and zero-energy buildings, and energy efficiency policies at EU and Member State. After her MSc in Engineering and Policy Analysis at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), she did her PhD at the Chair of Housing Quality and Process Innovation at the Faculty of Architecture, also at TU Delft. Her PhD thesis was on “Understanding the decision-making process of homeowner energy retrofits: from a behavioural and transaction cost perspective”. She is also a guest researcher at Delft University of Technology, Chair of Housing Quality and Process Innovation.
