Jobs and careers

IEECP is a non-for-profit, independent research foundation working since 2015 in several European funded projects and studies in the fields of energy efficiency, climate policy, energy poverty, demand side management, business models for energy efficiency and energy efficiency financing. IEECP’s international interdisciplinary team is working across Europe to generate and disseminate scientific and policy knowledge. We act as a knowledge-hub sharing pragmatic results as well as innovative ideas providing policymakers, and all private and public decision-makers, independent expertise and science-based research to support their work towards the energy transition and a sustainable future. IEECP has a rich experience in managing EU-funded, predominantly Horizon 2020-funded, climate action and energy transition projects, as coordinator or partner, engaging stakeholders, drafting policy syntheses and recommendations, evaluating policies, analysing data and statistics as well as developing tools, libraries, capacity building and learning programmes. We work closely with EU institutions, international organisations, national, regional and local governments, think-tanks, NGOs, academics and the business world to lead the transition to climate neutrality and to a sustainable energy future for various sectors. More information on the existing projects IEECP coordinates / works on as partner can be found on the website: www.ieecp.org.

Good to know: IEECP’s team is mostly teleworking, all across Europe. We are nonetheless a connected, fun and supportive team!

In view of expanding our activities, we are often opening new positions – those will be made available here and taken down when filled. We welcome diversity in the team and encourage young women to develop an interest in STEM and managerial activities through a variety of actions, laid down in our Gender equality and inclusivity plan, updated yearly.

At the moment, no position is available within the team, and we cannot host any more intern or Erasmus student, having reached full capacity. New openings will be added when they are available and communicated on our social media and in the newsletter – we therefore invite you to follow us there.

Please note that the IEECP specificity – having no dedicated HR position and a fully homeworking team – leads to the impossibility to answer to all spontaneous applications. We apologise for this and wish you the best of luck in your career.
