Dr. Sofia Natalia Boemi, an Environmental Engineer with a Ph.D. in environmental and energy management in the built sector, has 18 years of experience in managing and participating in EU and national energy efficiency projects.

Her expertise in energy efficiency and energy poverty has been recognised with postdoctoral scholarships from the Greek and Portuguese states. She has collaborated with the industry and Greek national key stakeholders as an energy efficiency expert. From 2019 to 2022, she provided scientific support to an MEP on energy efficiency in the built environment, energy poverty, and the eco-design of materials.

Finally, she has co-authored 50 papers and published in refereed journals, edited books, and presented at international conferences.
