Introduced by the partners of the LIFE IN-PLAN project, the IN-PLAN Practice is a long-lasting support structure enabling local and regional authorities to effectively implement their sustainable energy, climate, and spatial plans.
The Practice gives practical guidance on how to streamline sectoral planning instruments, provides milestones to remember and practical tools for doing basic research during a spatial planning process, illustrates which stakeholders should be involved and provides useful best practice cases.
The interactive infographic of IN-PLAN, developed after an analysis of the existing plans in its six focus countries, serves as a visual guide, revealing the complex relationships between various planning documents. By mapping out the intersections and overlaps between sectoral plans, the tool empowers policymakers and planners to identify potential synergies, conflicts, and areas for harmonization.
