The PACTE Industrie was launched as a national program to support industrial decarbonization and energy transition by helping companies reduce CO₂ emissions and energy use through strategic planning and investments. It is led by ADEME and associated partners and offers structured support including studies, coaching, and training to build low-carbon strategies and energy management plans. Operations include customized audits, development of decarbonization roadmaps, and financing assistance for energy and efficiency projects. Early reporting shows increased adoption of energy efficiency measures and stronger planning capabilities in firms, although the nationwide industrial decarbonization effort remains a long-term challenge.
