The RENOVERTY Rural Energy Efficiency Roadmaps (REERs) have been updated and refined to provide a sharper, more practical guide for rural homeowners across Europe. The project team has streamlined the content to focus on clear, technical directions for householders.
With the new update, the REERs reinforce their role as hands-on guides focused on the necessary technical steps for achieving a more energy-efficient home. The comprehensive, technical documents now provide a direct, step-by-step guide for the household without lengthy policy analysis. The broader strategic advice and stakeholder-specific content have been successfully separated into a dedicated document, ensuring the homeowner’s roadmap is an uncluttered, action-oriented tool.
In the updated Rural Energy Efficiency Roadmaps, householders will find the specific technical guidance needed to make smart, sustainable choices, including the discovery of tailored renovation packages for specific home types, from critical roof insulation to the best-fit heating and cooling solutions, a clear financial snapshot for understanding the expected costs, energy savings, and long-term financial benefits of each intervention, and a list of accessible funding through practical direction on navigating local grants, subsidies, and available financial support schemes in the region.
