The European RENOVERTY project announces the release of its online training module on co-creation, a vital step in fostering inclusive and participatory energy renovations across rural communities in Europe.
RENOVERTY is a European Union-funded project, which tackles/addresses the challenges of energy poverty in rural areas by promoting tailored building renovation strategies. At the heart of this approach lies co-creation – a collaborative process that brings together citizens, local authorities, energy experts, and NGOs to jointly shape sustainable, locally appropriate rural renovation roadmaps. Co-creation is a key step in ensuring that the solutions adopted are shared and truly meet the needs of local communities.
The training covers a wide range of topics, from community engagement techniques and inclusive decision-making to digital collaboration tools. It equips participants with the practical skills and knowledge needed to strengthen cooperation between residents, local authorities, and professionals involved in rural energy renovation.
