In the aim to identify relevant material that can be reused to raise awareness on the knowledge of citizens and households on energy efficiency, the LIFE project RENOVERTY translated a collection of hints and tips designed to support household affected by energy poverty to make their dwellings more comfortable and improve their well-being. This material was originally created by the Horizon project EmpowerMed, whose objective is to tackle energy poverty and help improve health of people in the coastal areas of Mediterranean countries, with a particular focus on women.
This collection of hints and tips provide people resources and tools to be in control of their bills, while at the same time they help to save money and improve well-being and health. In particular, the material is a great guide to learn simple energy and water saving measures and smaller or bigger investments for improving well-being at home and to know where to get further information and help when needed.
In addition to the already available editions in English and French, the RENOVERTY consortium translated the material in Croatian, Estonian, Hungarian, Slovenian, Catalan, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish. These languages correspond to the regions that will benefit from the individual Renovation Energy Efficiency Roadmaps (REEERs) developed by the project and are the following: Sveta Nedelja, Croatia ; Tartu, Estonia; Bükk-Mak & Somló-Marcalmente-Bakonyalja Leader, Hungary; Zasavje, Slovenia; Parma, Italy; Coimbra, Portugal; Osona, Spain.
